96 zj PCM

So not long ago I purchased a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that was bone stock and in great condition, minus the PCM. I was told that the a shop had diagnosed that the PCM was shot. Jeep wouldn't start and the repair was too costly, so the jeep sat for a year. I picked it up and order a REFURBISHED PCM from one of the first things Google suggested... This turned out to be a bad decision. I also ordered a rough country 3.5 inch lift, some 31 inch tires, fuel pump, fuel filter, four hole fuel injectors, new brakes all four corners, battery, catalytic converter, new radiator and hoses, all sorts of new fluids and seals. I hammered out all this work before the new PCM had arrived... Now comes the day of reckoning, plug the new PCM in and she roars to life. Now I get to drive my sweet new/old jeep! For about a day... Then I get a P0202 code... I know its not the injector but I test any way. Fuel injector is good but not pulsing, I park the vehicle. Next day fire her up and she stumbles for a second and fires back to life like nothings wrong. About 30 minutes later half way to town the fuel injector cuts out and the CEL starts flashing... Pull over and wait. The 6 cyl is not happy when only firing 5 cyl. Poke around and start looking at wires and the harness. Truck has cooled, fire it back up and drive almost home before it cuts out again. Spend the next day tracing wires, cleaning and securing ground wires. Pulling apart the wiring harness looking at the tan wire all the way thru, checking the ground all the way thru, trying to find the culprit because it can't be my REFURBISHED PCM. All the tests say PCM isn't communicating with fuel injector two. Pull the PCM and send it in under warranty. Warranty doesn't cover shipping so that's another 25 bucks on a PCM that already cost 220... Got tired of waiting for their technical department to determine they sent me a bad unit, and ordered a REMANUFACTURED unit from Oreilly Auto. Plugged it in today right out of the box and she is doin great so far. This unit was REMANUFACTURED by cardone and is a much better looking PCM than the first purchase. The cardone PCM ran about 250... Should have done this the firs5 go around! Couldn't find much info on this mess in the forms so I thought I would put it out there in hopes of keeping someone else from making the same mistake.
