1994 jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 running Dodge transmission 46rh help
 

I'm currently in the process of running a Dodge 46rh transmission in my Jeep zj. Transmission is already in. I'm trying to put the driver side Dodge header on to clear the now driver side starter and running into firewall clearance when installing the Dodge header. Has anyone ever completed this swap before?

Shorty center dump headers with a custom bends back to the Y pipe or true duals is the only way to do it.

What if I massage the firewall back alittle by about a 1/2 inch.? That's really all the room I need to clear the firewall.

Has anyone ever done this?

Project is completed. Dodge 46rh transmission with driver side starter swapped into 94 jeep grand Cherokee with 5.2l

How did you manage to do it, and pictures?

Is this an upgrade to the 4.0? I am not understanding the benefits.

Would really like to know what you had to do to get that done, I'm having the problem of finding the jeep 46rh, but can turn a corner and get a dodge one
