fullwidth d44/14 bolt
2 Attachment(s)
I have a built dana 44 front axle that has the following:
Arb air locker Chromoly shafts 5.38 gears Over the knuckle steering Bracket previously used to mount a full Hydro steer setup Blue torch fab diff cover Also a bare bones 14 bolt for the rear. Only thing missing is the drums (was going to convert to disks), the spider gears (was going to put in a locker) and the ring and pinion cuz they're screwed. Original ratio was 4.10 so you can go up to 5.38 to match the front. I'm asking 1000 for everything, or just the arb for 700. Im on the air force base in tucson, az. Local pickup unless you want to pay a fortune to ship it all. I'll take trade for the arb for a detroit locker for my 8.25 or trade it all for a detroit locker and 4.56 gears for 8.25 and d 30 Attachment 279137 Attachment 279138 |
Willing to sell parts. Make me offers. After all is said and done I need 650 out of it so I can get a locker for my 8.25, but I'd like a little cushion to put a down payment on a nice new set of tires.

How much for the cover
|
How's 50 bucks shipped sound.

What's the 44 from? Is it same width as my driver's side waggy 44? If it's the same then I would be interested in the chromoly shafts
Otherwise $50 is fine with me |
X2 on what the 44 is out of. If it's from a chevy, I'd be interested in the knuckles and stub shafts.
|
It's from a chevy. Not sure how it works but the shafts might be the same length just flip flopped? I forgot it also has lockout hubs.

Prices for parts from the dana 44...
Arb...650 shipped Chromoly inner shafts...150 shipped Gears... 120 shipped Manual locking Hubs...250 shipped Prices are obo. This axle is off of a '73 chevy k20 so make sure the parts will fit your rig before ordering. I'm not sure on the compatability between driver drop and passenger drop axles. I dont see why at least the arb and hubs wouldnt be compatible but If someone who knows more about axle building could chime in here that'd be awesome haha. Thanks |
A 73" Chevy D44 had small bearing spindles. These will work with GM/Jeep D44s. Hubs will fit both small and large bearing spindles but the bearings must obviously be changed. Hubs, and locker will fit any D44(except unit bearing 44s). Gears obviously fit any LP44.

Turns out shafts are not chromo. Stubs are sold. Anyone have offers? Trying to clear room in the garage. Parts still available are inner shafts, hubs, arb air locker, gears.

Adamk helped me research it. They're spicer shafts and the only shafts spicer makes that are chromo for a d44 look different. They're machined for full circle clips and don't neck down after the splines. Mine have half circle clips and neck down after the splines.
