WGMG - Weather apps/weather forecast that are not even close to right. Local forecast says its only supposed to be 93 today. Well guess what? Its already past 100 and still rising! Tomorrow says its going to get up to 96. I am willing to bet it will be more like 106.

What else GMG - The guys at work used the last of the Freon and didnt say anything or order more. So much for recharging my AC today.... And one last GMG - One of our sales guys came in this morning and said his last day working here is.... tomorrow. Got to love Mondays.

WGMG

I ordered a mag from Springfield. So it ships out the next day via FedEx and they estimate the delivery to be today. It goes from Illinois (west of me) to about 60 miles EAST of me. Early thursday morning it stops at a FedEx place and sits for almost 24 hours before being handed off to the postal service friday morning. Then saturday afternoon a FedEx truck drives right by my house lol and it still isn't here today and they changed the date to tomarrow

It's not important that i receive it asap or anything but cmon guys lol

It's like when you're flying somewhere that should be a 3 hour flight, but you have a connecting flight and each leg of the journey is 2.5 hours

Shipping companies use hubs just like airlines, and they route traffic in the manner that's most efficient for overall traffic, whether people or packages.

Example:
In my area, everything flies right over me to the Baltimore UPS facility, which is an hour east of me. Then they load it on a truck that brings it back to the facility in my city, where it's then loaded into a van for delivery.

Funny you say that. We just got a new tank of Freon at work today too!

Anything I order that gets shipped DHL always gets handed off to USPS. EVERYTHING! I'm not given a choice. I can't remember who ships this way, but it's annoying to say the least because once USPS has it, they are slow in delivering it.

I used to have a great mail person. She would get out of the truck with a package and set it on my porch. Her replacement leaves a note for me to pick it up at the post office! I found out Pamela has retired! We used to get our mail around 11:30, now we sometimes don't get it until 4:30 which makes my package pick-up the next day!

Funny! When my cylinder head was delivered by Fedex, the guy dropped it on my lawn! 20 feet from the truck and 15 feet from my porch! 85 lbs!

One of the big carriers, I think it's UPS, will hold my packages at their distribution center if they arrive too early. Meaning, if I pay for 5-7 day shipping and it shows up at the local distribution center on day 2, they'll hold it until day 6.

I, once upon a time, took a seasonal job at UPS as a package handler for the Christmas rush. DON"T EVER DO THAT! 8 hours a day of busting *** unloading and loading trucks! I didn't even do any sorting. Just cramming boxes in until it was full.

Stop cleaning up after them and see what happens.
