Code:
*lists parts in classifieds and says "make an offer"*

I don't have a good reference besides ebay for **** like this, and I'm not immovable in price, but when people do this, I know what they're about and I'm not having it.

You don't give me a reasonable offer, I'll give you a price you don't like, then you counter, and I counter, etc .

It's almost as if there's a thing called negotiation…

On top of all that, I'm the one who puts the time in to get the parts vehicle, take the parts out carefully, and actually knows they work—the White Knight XJ, as I call it, drove away from the sandwich it was involved in.

I don't know what evidence you want beyond the fact that Kaspersky himself admitted their system had been compromised for an unknown period of time. The only question is whether or not Kaspersky was complicit. We know it happened, and we have no way of knowing if it's still happening.

Why would you risk it? Why use something you know has been compromised when you have other options? "They could be compromised too" isn't a reason to use a known-bad system

WGMG - the fact that the weather knows when to be bad. Like today, wind on trash day. All this week, we are supposed to have near perfect weather. This weekend though? Hot.

It was 80F on Friday.
Saturday and Sunday had highs in the low 40s.
It snowed yesterday.
It's 31F right now, and in 12 hours it will be 75!

**** YOU OLD MAN WINTER! **** OFF AND DIE!

5speed! I just wanted you to know one of our local TV station's weatherman has a "Trashcan Wind Index" on his show;

5-Gone
4-Down the street
3-In neighbor's yard
2-Knocked over
1-Upright

I saw that and instantly though of you!

WGMG:

We had just finished up a meeting, most of the folks left but there were four of us still in the room talking about one of the items.

This jackwagon with an office across from the conference room comes in and shuts our door. Presumably we were being loud. But here's the thing: His office door was also open, and remained open after he came and shut our door.

If shutting one of the two doors solved his problem, why go through the extra effort to shut our door?

I dunno why that pissed me off so much, but it did. I just put in a maintenance request for him for the building services people to come fix his door. OBVIOUSLY the hinges are broken, right?

Haha that is awesome! I guess I got lucky yesterday. It was only like a 2.5 based on your scale. Cans on their sides and slightly in front of the neighbors house. 2 Mondays ago it was a 5 for sure.

The worst I've had with mine was in the middle of the horse pasture next door. No ideas on how they got over the fence!
