Power is out all around campus, but everywhere on campus has wifi and power. I have homework due, but can't do it since I don't have power or wifi, and everything on campus is closed even though they have power. Makes no sense.

WGMG's

When you have been getting everything for a particular project together, set it all in one place, then someone else decides "Why is this here? Think I'll move it somewhere else..."

Then they are nowhere to be found when the question of "WHERE'S MY ****" comes up...

Worse than that. When you get to my age, you put stuff where you can find it when you need it, then forget where you put it! I think it's called "senile dementia?" Right now I'm having trouble remembering song artists and movie actors names until I think about it awhile. Pisses me off!

Haha, i seem to spend more time looking for tools, nuts 'n bolts and parts that i had in my hand just minutes ago than doing the actual work.

Don't know if its 'senile dementia' since i've had this searching around for stuff dilemma for the last 30 years.
Think its more of the 'heat of the battle wanting to get the project done quickly' adrenaline kind of thing.

Now where the hell did i put my coffee!

Funny part is, the person in question suffers from a form of the disease you speak of, C.R.S. or Can't Remember ****, haha

Which, makes it even more grinding, LOL

Agreed. That'd be a lot of wasted money spilled out onto the ground

My wife used to kid me by saying it was senile dementia. She was 7 years younger than me and had worked in a nursing home! It really bothers me when I hear a song on the radio that I've heard 1000 times before and can't remember the artist! Of course I'm listening to "The Dinosaur", a station here that plays top 40 from the 50's thru the 80's. They are so popular that they broadcast on 5 frequencies! 94.1, 95.3, 103.7, 103.9, and 106.1. This allows them to cover MOST of central NY.

My sister(in-law) and I got into a problem trying to remember a movie actor the other day that drove us to Google! We could see his face in our minds and remembered movies he'd been in, just not his name! believe it or not, it was Jimmy Stewart!! D'oh!

Anyone remember the 50's pickups with the gas tank in the cab under the seat? IIRC they were Fords, weren't they? In a rollover, the filler neck would get broken off. It made for a lot of BBQed drivers.

And another thing!
Had this happen today and almost drove my truck into a roadside drainage ditch.

Oncoming women driver who hogged the middle of a narrow country road and didn't pull over towards her shoulder to allow my safe passing by her.
Forced me to drive way into my shoulder to avoid hitting the @#$#%^&.

Hate to say this but its mostly (but not all) women drivers who are guilty of this.
