Default U-Pull Auto Parts

So, I needed a new seat for my Cherokee because apparently, if you're fat...like myself....and hop into the seat too much it breaks. I went to the local pick 'n pull where they happen to have TONS of Cash for Clunkers vehicles, and found an XJ identical to mine, and grabbed up the seat and I'm going back to grab up the rear bumper caps, washer fluid resevoir, grill and headlight bezels. It is bittersweet because the Jeep was a casualty to the clunkers program...any way, if you're in the South Central Michigan area, check this out.

Thanks for the info on that you pull... Know of all the ones around here, but for some parts would be worth the drive.

It's definitely worth the drive. It's $2 admission charge, and it's walk in only. You bring your own tools, and they let you use a wheelbarrow. It's a huge place. Not to mention, if you've got a late model vehicle and need parts, they have them next door at the store. www.schramauto.com. Like I said, I grabbed up a driver's seat - in excellent condition - for $17.89 after the admission charge, not bad at all. There is a huge place in BC with Jeep parts...I can't remember what it's called.

Lafayette and Airway are the ones I hit most of the time. Between those two, and my buddies garages we can always find the parts we need, LOL.

U-Pull and Save has a 1989 Comanche...I'm not sure what's been picked and/or pulled.

Yeah definitely. It's always nice to have a garage to work in; I've got to hope the weather is good...and you know Michigan weather. LOL

You guys are lucky.....Junkyards here wont let you pull your own parts due to a dumb state law.... Therefore the JY employees have to pull them and that really jacks up the cost. Also they manage to break half of what they pull or they leave out some bracket that you need because it "didn't look important"

There was one JY that used to let you wander and pull your own stuff but they wont anymore!

Wow, that would be frustrating. Even more frustrating than watching Saturday Night Live featuring Justin Beiber as the musical guest.
