Default Truck Night in America Premiere

History Channel has a new show premiering tonight. I've seen some Cherokees and Wranglers in the previews. One of the hosts was a competitor in King of Hammers this year and is a Death Valley local.

Who's gonna watch?

Eh. it has room to improve. They have got to get new hosts, holy cow that was painfull. Show layout reminds me of Steve Austins Broken Skull ranch show thingy.Same idea. Should have required a winch on all vehicles. That come-along cable could have done some serious bodily damage to the driver when it snapped.

For having watched episode 2 last night I must say I'm very impressed. They have decided to change up the second third challenge each Episode by the looks of it, and once again we got jeeps and the top three and top 2. It's beginning to look like nearly every competitor is going to get stuck in that stupid swamp. At least tonight's winner made it all the way. If you haven't seen the episode I'm not going to spoil it

I must say its pretty clear that you must have a winch. Nearly everybody on that course is running a 4 inch lift and 35s with a full cage or at least the Jeeps are running roll bars. I knew from the moment that I saw that the 2016 Tacoma wasn't going to get very far. Pretty trucks never do.

My jeep will make it over a lot of stuff, but wouldnt be able to haul *** through that course without breaking. And yeah that tacoma was a joke.

I must say that episode 3 is consistently better. New challenges again.

I'd say that the major difference with this episode is nearly everybody is running a monster lift with 40 inch tires. It seems like everybody in this episode has a stupid amount of money tied up in their truck

Once again Jeep is showing up and showing out but I feel like that LJ has been changed so much there's hardly anything Jeep left about it.

Finally watched the first episode. No way that come-along was rated to pull like that. Most that size are 2.5 ton and your at that just from the weight of that ugly power wagon. Just plain stupid

Yeah I was thinking kind of the same thing. I get why some people don't run wenches if it's not what they built the vehicle for and they've never needed it before but like it was said before I think the competition should require it

I will still watch it, just for the fact of.....trucks, mud, rocks, 4wd, and usually some pretty good "scenery"(at least in the last couple episodes). It sure beats the heck out of watching fake Discovery channel stuff. The show deffinetally needs to improve in some areas of hosting and challenges though. The boat drag was different, and i got a kick out of the toilet launcher. A creative challenge that tested both vehicle and driver.

So I just caught episode 8 last night. Awesome showing from the 90s Jeeps. A ZJ an MJ and an XJ walk into Truck Night in America LOL. It was a little sad to see the XJ go out on only the Second Challenge but in all fairness that MJ was built! Still a pretty great to have so much representation for what Jeeps can do.
