Default Quiet brakes finally!

I had a constant chirp of my brakes while driving and really bad noises when stopping for a while, but I finally tracked it down. The parking brakes, which haven't worked in 5 years, were dragging their shoes. I removed the shoes and hardware. No more noise.

Hmmmm. I'll have to look at that. I just did my front rotors, pads, and calipers, and I still have noise when braking hard....

Another thing can be if you don't lube the slider pins most calipers ride on can cause noises.

This was a rusted shoe return spring that was allowing one shoe to ride against a rusted drum. That's why my wheel was coated with red dust streaks.

This is also a WJ with rear disc brakes so the e-brake is inside the center of the rotor.
