Well it blew my day off, but another paintjob done. Another. Red. Paintjob.

Ridiculously high metallic level, had to fog the **** out of it to get an even spread. My booth is a mess.

Ugh.

Looks like a nice shade, though. Can you get a picture of it in the sun sometime?

Hey, bugout, you ever get cracking on that toolbed truck? I finally got some parts from the laser/pressbrake shop, got going, then got pulled to work something else. Maybe I'll get to finish it tomorrow, lol

Sorry I missed this yesterday man. I wish I had the luxury of having stuff cut and folded local like that! No not yet... Too many other priorities keep pushing that project forward.

That looks great !

I dont know what is up with this street but there is at least one accident a week and almost always in the same exact spot. I have almost been nailed multiple times on the same street from people running the lights. Good thing the fire station is 1/4 mile away.

Thanks, I actually was able to devote most of the day to this today, made some good progress.

The pics aren't in order, dunno why, but I tried to get them close to sequential...moving multiple pictures around now kinda sucks, and it doesn't upload in the order you pick them in. Another thing to bring up to IB...

Wow, the pics are nowhere near sequential, and the second text body I typed up was supposed to be inserted after all the photos. I really hate the new image uploader.

Today I simultaneously disassembled a mustang and decorated my walls.

Also managed to find some rust and a snake skin.

You managed to find rust on a Ford?

What a miracle

Considerably less rust than I've found on my XJ even. Not bad for a vehicle twice my DD's age.

Looks good! Looks like you are ready for paint!

I got a kick out of that gentleman's shirt. Fishing? in the Mojave river? lol

Reminded me of a friend who has a place in the middle of the desert, he has a sign on the road up to his house that says "private property, no fishing". Always get a chuckle out of that.

We actually have several small lakes here, one right off the Mojave river at Mojave Narrows, and a state fish hatchery, also just off the river...but his shirt is actually from a charter boat company in San Diego, lol
