Nah, still doesn't bring the kid back...old Chinese proverb translated loosely "you can't un-ring a bell".

welp almost had a heart attack as i almost flipped my jeep. Some moron pulled out in front of me in the rain and caused me to swerve into a very angled soft shoulder and felt the whole side of my jeep begin to lift up only to have it slam back down after coming to a complete stop sideways

took a good minute and a few people asking if i was alright, The mud was just slippery enough for it to not completely catch as it was hitting the tire marks from the machines. it honestly was the first time i actually had to stop and take in what happened because i thought both my tires blew out until the few people who asked me if i was alright told me i almost flipped and my wheels left the ground.... meanwhile the guy who caused it was long gone.... but it honestly called for a milkshake after to ease my nerves. Funny thing is i thought i had it on dash cam and tried to recover the footage only to realize it didnt record because the sd card wasnt seated correctly...... i wish it told me instead of having to go through settings and tell me

This is going to sound like I am a dinosaur ('cause I am), but technology is great, when it works! IF it works! Jet fighter pilots are starting to realize this "fly-by-wire" stuff is great, until it doesn't work! Then you eject.

Collision avoidance wouldn't have saved your butt when that happened. It took flesh and blood neurons to keep you alive then. Kudos to your driving!

thanks just glad i made it out ok, Coulda done stuff differently but at a split second you dont have much options or time to think just do in my case stamp the brake pedal and yank the wheel and realize you locked the brakes up and release them and initiate spin out mode which my god i know i raced my miata around and such and spun out numerous times and was mostly in control, my jeep just snapped around and took me by surprise.
