Wow.... So went to the junkyard today and seen a biohazard car today and inside was horrible. Owner shot himself inside and was just stomach dropping to see. Really sad to see. Car had a certificate of destruction and couldnt be used for parts tho i see why.

You just got a dose of reality. Got the "opportunity" to go recover several of these suicide vehicles over my years in the towing business. They can be a mess... This is the "reality" part of our culture no one wants see or discuss. I have stories... Want to see reality outside of the cultural bubble, go check out (PM me if you want a link) . I link to this every time someone starts to claim why we should not wear seat belts. Sorry... Scooped up too much of that carnage off the highway with a shovel to ever agree with that false myth. There is stuff I will never unsee for the rest of my life because of not wearing seat belts. When talking about reality, a picture is worth a thousand words. Or what you see in real life.

It helped me deal with it growing up reading my uncle's California Highway Patrol magazine before I started helping Dad work wrecks as a youngster. They were full of gory accident pictures and helped take the shock out of my first personal hands on dose of reality.

honestly that is why im a cautious driver, I seen a motorcycle crash a while ago and he was speeding until a car merged into him and he crashed ripping his leg off. But this was just shocking to say the least. And yeah the reality is very shocking and gruesome.

Then you "get it"... You would be surprised how many live in an insulated bubble and refuse to accept reality for what it really is.

It's hard for me to imagine what would drive someone to do that. If someone wants to be dead all they need to do is wait, we'll all get there soon enough. Of course being an old phart I'll get there a bit sooner than most of you. (I'm not trying to be flip, my closest friend committed suicide several years ago. I really do not get it.)

Thanks for sharing that, sorry about your friend, I have lost several too. But I am going to refrain from digging deeper into this even though I would like to. It could get out of hand for this site...
