Default JK snobs

Anybody see the Ford commercial where the guy is stuck in a snow bank and tries to wave a JK to help but just drives on by?

ive personally witnessed 2 types of JK'ers. the mall crawlers snobs and the family with 2 kids and a dog, and wants a full framed jeep.

I wheeled with one of the good guys Saturday. He was a cool dude with a wife and 2 dogs. I have also seen the snobs that won't give a second look at anyone besides another jk

funniest thing ive seen....was wheeling in Moab on Fins & things...not a hard trail. The first big dropoff, there was 4 brand new built JK's on 37's sitting right at the top. I rolled up in my 99 xj, rolled down the window and asked what they were waiting for. They legitimately told me they were scared. so i rolled up the window, cranked the AC, dropped her in 4lo and dropped off the edge and drove off haha.

Yes, JK owners come in various types. I've encountered the soccer moms, girls who just wants a wrangler (non enthusiast), girl who buys a jk bc her bf told her to, guys who just wants a wrangler (non enthusiast), mall crawler snobs, mild enthusiast and then the hardcore guys.

Who cares as long as they are buying Jeeps and keeping the Wrangler alive. I can remember guys saying the same crap when the TJ came out. Don't worry about how other people use their Jeeps, and you'll be better off for it.

Sorry, but I have to vent! There is a guy who owns 4 newspaper routes and has guys working for him. He drives a black JK and thinks he's some kind of special person. He laughs at me because I drive an old WJ, but he doesn't realize I can take it anywhere he'd care to drive! He asked me why I have a shackle in my trailer hitch and I told him it's a rear recovery point. He just laughed and walked away. Every time he walks past me, he sneers at me, probably because he knows I've got his number! JK snob +! His 4 routes are in Liverpool which is flat with no hills to speak of, where mine is ALL hills.

Sorry, it's a JKU.

yep. as long as someone in a wrangler doesn't try to be condescending about having a better offroad vehicle than X and Y, i say live and let live. not everyone wants to spend time fixing an old jeep, so they buy new or more recent. nothing wrong with that. it's their money, not yours.

many XJ guys are doing the same but the other way around "pff you got a wrangler? a cherokee is way better buddy, shouldn't have bought that POS" how is that good for our hobby? to each their own.

the best part is our group tailgunner was running a 14 jku rubicon, on 37's, and he never blinked an eye hahaha. the texas tourons took pictures of us as we all went down and then get finally got the nerve to go down. and then proceeded to follow us all the way to the end of the southern half of the trail, they then turned on sand flats and headed back to town.

This could go into the craigslist section.....but do they make them in 2wd?!?!?

That just seems like such a waste

As no good can come from it, I don't allow propaganda into my home. TV, commercials, movies, etc. so nah.

When I drive my xj, I wave to all jeeps. I rarely get one from a wrangler back. Today I drove my dads yj, and almost every jk or tj waved.
