You gusy think I could get back up that? If I need to go make contact with someone I need to be able to get down there. But I don't know if I can get back up.
Oh, yeah. You got that.

I know. As long as it's dry, you got that. Maybe even wet, haha...

Give it a go when you have time. Try it out. These rigs are pretty capable, even in 2wd...

Best advice I can give you is do what you're comfortable with...once you see what you can do, push the envelope a bit further next time. It's a fine balance of going bigger, but knowing your limits...this is one of the reasons I suggested Rampart Range out there for your first off-road experience. You can do RR in 2wd for the most part as it's mostly FS/BLM roads that are maintained. Difficult spots have bypasses. End up in a spot you're not comfy with? Turn around and go back, haha

You got this.

If anything, get down there, tell them to leave, wait until they do, then if you can't get back up, and need to call for help, no harm, no foul, right?

You totally got that, though. I would have zero issues hitting that in 2wd.

Exactly what roni said. When mine was 2wd, I was super surprised at what it could do. Even to this day, most of the time I am in 2wd on the trails. That should be an easy hill.

Yeah I did a lot of wheeling in mine when it was 2wd. People were amazed at what it would do without front wheels doin' any work.

With 2wd - momentum is your friend. If your wheels (or wheel since I am assuming open diff) starts spinning, just back down the hill till it is a bit more flat and hit it with some more gusto

Just try to stay off the rev limiter

99% of the time I am too lazy to yank the t-case selector so I just throttle out. No harm no foul
