Honestly i think its better than TG. I love all the digs and pokes they take at BBC. It seems like they are able to do more and of what they want, being that it is "their show"

Agreed. It does seem like they have more freedom which is nice. I did enjoy the many BBC digs, especially in the first episode haha

i think it's alright. but i do miss the celebrities actually coming into the studio and driving the reasonably priced car around the track.

and the new "stig" as it may, well, don't care for him much.

but i do like their challenges.

They have to stay away from copying the features they did on Top Gear to avoid lawsuits. So the celebrities never make it into the studio, which now roams from place to place instead of having a fixed location. They have a named, chatty race car driver instead of the mysterious and silent Stig. "The News" is now "Conversation Street." Etc. Despite all this it feels much like the old BBC Top Gear but the guys obviously have fewer restrictions. I give it a definite thumbs up.
