I always wanted a parts washer. I know a garage that bought a brand new 4' 20 gallon Snap On one and paid $2500 for it. That is insane. This one says it is 40 gallons.

Personally if I'm going to spend that on a vehicle I would prefer a more grammatically correct ad, or bullet points listing the things done. Some of the words I couldn't understand.

The front end damage, incorrect grill indicating there has been damage before the current damage, the rear flare being broken (comanche specific) and rims would kill it for me. I guess I'm just too picky though. I got my 1 owner, low mileage Comanche for cheap and all the little stuff adds up a good bit.

The 8-slot grille is correct, but I agree about the damage. The bumper made me look closer, and I can't help wondering if the passenger fender damage is unrelated or if the impact was strong enough to buckle it. That makes me question the integrity of the unibody rails.

Ah, I thought the 10 slot lasted till 88, maybe it was a few early 88s that had them.

Ended in '87. The 8-slot was introduced in XJ/MJ for the '88 model year

This thing has been for sale for months...and he keeps raising the price? It was $9k, then 10, now it's 11.5?

OK folks, getting questions about the asking price with best offer. As you'll see below, there are no issues with this vehicle, we have replaced the bulk of wearable items. This is not a $3,500 jeep with 250,000 miles and needing $10,000 in repairs. Buy with confidence, you could hop in this vehicle and drive across the country.
It's also not an $11,500 jeep. That roof screams "I'm rusty underneath this spray-on liner." Plus it's not even "built" so to speak.

And what XJ could ever need $10,000 in repairs? You can literally replace the entire thing 5 times for that amount of money.

I'm not usually one to rag on someone who wants a lot for their XJ. I actually paid quite a lot for mine because I liked what the PO had done with it.
But this? It's not even a Limited! And who the hell recovers the seats with the factory Sport pattern?

I spend a lot of time on Craigslist.

I have seen people set a price. Come down a bit after a short period of time. Do it again. And then at some point post again with the original asking price.
I have seen people do almost back to back posts with the first one being higher then the second. Competing against themselves?
Where I live there are 5 sections for the state. I have seen people ask different prices in different sections.
I have seen people post the same item, in the different sections (you can tell by the photo), for the same price but changing the town to one that is in that section.
There is more but you get the idea.

And people wonder why I hate people. LOL.

And for the record to all you folks who sell stuff on Craigslist. Put a damn price on your crap. I don't care what price. Just a price. MLOL.

Homie says "Engine was gone through" aka gaskets replaced. You don't take the head off an '01' and put it back on.

Did know about the price but if I still had my black '96 I would be considering these:
