Hey guys. I'm really new here, but I'm a little bummed today. I was going to go meet up with someone tomorrow about buying my mustang, but it fell through. I don't need to sell the car to purchase an XJ, but it would help. The problem I'm running into is the same one Jeep enthusiast run into at times I'm sure.
My mustang is 22 years old now with a lot of mods. Nothing crazy, but it's not stock so finding a buyer that wants those specific mods and wants to deal with a 22 year old car make selling this thing difficult. Unless I want to give it away. Anyway, I'm just a little bummed about this slight setback. I don't even have any XJ prospects close to me at the moment, but it would be nice to be able to have cash in hand when I found something.
Thanks for listening guys.

22 years old is a 1995 aka sn95,The last mustang 2 was 1978,The age and the mods can be a problem for a lot of people. They believe since its been modded either a young kid had it or its been drove hard.Either wait it out or try finding a mustang club or go to a car show or two in the swap meet you might sell it at either.

Yeah, it's a 95. Being a 95 already puts a strike against it. 94 and 95 were odd years for these cars. It's the SN95 body style, but OBD1 with the old 5.0 pushrods engine. There are specificarts for these years and not a lot of aftermarket computer tuners will work with it.
I used to be in the car scene pretty big, but since my oldest daughter was born 4 years ago I haven't been very active. Taking it to a car show and putting a for sale sign on it is probably a good idea and one I've been toying with. I know the mods and issues are a problem, but since I've been out of the mustang realm for awhile now I really don't have any idea what these particular models are going for. The prices seem to be all over the place.

Yeah, I'm not opposed to buying a modded jeep. I'd rather have a stock one, but as long as the mods are not over the top for my need, mods are fine.

Whelp. Just sold my Mustang so the hunt for a Cherokee is going to be on. I don’t know how long it will take me to find one, but I’m sure I can find something that suits my desires.
