Upgraded speakers - 19 Cherokee Limited Base Audio
 

sorry if this has been asked many times before, but I have a 2019 Cherokee Limited with crappy stock speakers. I have been struggling to work out what speakers I need to upgrade. Here is what I've heard::

Item # 82215414 (aka 77KICK28AB) for front speaker replacements
Item # 82215415 (aka 77KICK41) for rear speaker replacement

however I've also heard that there are speakers 77KICK42, but I believe they are only for when there is premium audio installed (the factory 9 speaker option).

Can anyone confirm if my understanding is correct, so for the 6speaker base audio I would order the 82215414 and 82215415.

Also if you can think of some other options that are better, would really appreciate the response...

I didn't know they still made the Kicker upgrade kits that were sold through Mopar. They did in the mid-2000s, but didn't know they were still available. I honestly would go with the Mopar kit since it's tailored to fit the Cherokee KL's factory speaker openings and wiring harnesses. Not sure about part #'s.
