Previous owner had a led fetish

The poor xj had led strips in the wheel well and floor boards along with less in the headlights. Iv never seen so many wires held together with electrical tape outside of a jeep. Best part is there was a trail of wires that ran from the trunk to the hood because the PO relocated the battery to the back of the jeep. Can’t wait to get it all fixed. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...68b13c892.jpeg

my only logical Reason is because it’s a marine battery and didn’t fit under the hood. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...068710e94.jpeg

Dumb idea, poorly executed.

Are you planning to put it back where it belongs? Tha'ts a kaboom hazard inside the vehicle.

Or will you wait until that battery is worn out and put the new one in the right place?

spent $800 today having a pro audio shop re work all the electrical wiring and fix the punctured gas tank from a self tapped the po used to secure an amp. They put a brand new battery up front too and cut that fugly battery rack out from the rear.
