Passenger Door Speaker Power-No Sound

Picked up a good condition '99 Sport, knowing the front speakers were not working.

Purchased a radio and speakers through Crutchfield, admittedly, not high end. Installed all. The drivers side speaker connector had loose contacts so I cut it off and soldered the pigtail with new connectors, it is good.

Passenger side will light up a continuity tester when you check at the connector, or if you plug the speaker in, it will light up the continuity tester when you touch the speaker terminals. Ultimately, I cut the connector off and soldered the pigtail on this side as well.

So the speaker appears to be getting power, but no sound.:(

I did swap speakers around, and both speakers work in the drivers door, so...

-There is power at the connector behind the radio for the front/right speaker.

-The wires in the rubber tube inside the door jamb are not broken.

-There is power at the end of the wire.

Any ideas what would prevent the speaker from working with power getting to it?

Thanks in advance.
