Lights on factory roof rack

Wondering if anyone has used the stock roof rack for lights. 1998 style that go close to the windshield. Pics would be cool. Maybe some picks of how they are wired. Thanks!

Guess I'm going to go for it. Just going to do two spotlights on the rack. Then I'll do two fogs on the bumper. Still would like some ideas on wiring the rack lights. I know I could run them up and out the door opening. Ive even seen some run the wires out the top of the liftgate. Thinking I might go through the roof. Then seal them with some lexel. Anyone ran wires through the roof? How did it work out?
