Jeep starts with astro start but will not start with the key
 

I have a 96 Cherokee it will start with the astro start but will not start with the key.. If i try to start with the key it will turn over and fire but then die immediately. if i start with astro start then put key in ingnition as soon as i hit the brake to put in drive it dies. also if i turn key to acc no dash light or radio.... Is the problem the ignition switch or something to do with the astro start/anti theft or something worse......

Go back to the directions for the remote start unit. I expect that is where the problem lies is with the way it is wired for what ever the reason.

The astro start has been in the jeep since i bought it about 3 years ago and has gave no issues thats way i thinks it the ignition switch....but i will start there and work my way up thanks for the reply
