HID Housings

Hello all. My bad weather beater could definitely use some better head lights. I go to work when it is dark and I usually get home when it is dark so I am willing to spend some decent money for headlights. I am currently looking into the Rugged Retrofits set since the price for everything does not seem too bad but are there other comparable options around that price range of $300? Most threads when I search this topic are cheap Ebay listings or link to something that does not exist. I am sure there is something that I am missing and that is why I am reaching out here. I am not looking for bling or alien eye looking lights, just a good projector that looks like it could be a factory piece. I appreciate any help you all can provide.

In my opinion no aftermarket headlights look factory other than h4 conversion housings which are still glass lenses with chrome reflectors, but you can change the bulb. The best looking (in my opinion) are trucklite LED headlights. Much brighter than factory and they actually pull less power. I've had mine for almost 4 years now with no issues at all. Before doing light though, have you done the headlight harness upgrade? That alone will typically increase the brightness of the lights.

I have not, but I have heard of it. I figured since one of my lights went out recently, might as well upgrade them. I just like the idea of HIDs since my summer cars have had HIDs from the factory and I have been spoiled by that.

The trucklite LEDs I have are brighter than the HID conversion lights I've wheeled with. Very clean cut off too
