Has anyone found stock-looking LED headlights?
 

Looking for a pair of led headlights for added brightness. Problem is, I want to keep the look of the original sealed beams. The only pair I can find are these going for literally $400. Has anyone found another pair?

Did you switch to the headlight wiring harness upgrade? I don't know what you do with your Jeep, but I updated the harness and I run stock Wagner sealed beams. They are fine. Though in the future I may upgrade to Hella H4's. Just depends on how much I drive at night and how old I get.

I have used the ARB fat boy bulbs. More light but you have to use an H4 bucket

Yup, LED's are bright - but, in my experience, provide little or no illumination. (based on LED replacement bulbs)

Hellas (or even el cheapo PAL's) with good quality bulbs (not sure those fatboys are still available, but they were astronomically expensive) is the way to go, if you want to see where you're going.

I've been very happy with Wagner BriteLite H6054BL w/ a relay harness. I rarely use high beams. I have H4 bulbs in my other XJ and the cutoff from the housing limits the light output compared to the Wagners.

So it seems like it's better just to stay with halogens anyway. I guess I'll give these a try and do the headlight harness upgrade! Thanks

Back when I was in the automotive aftermarket (TRW and Federal-Mogul), one of my friends was the Wagner rep. I replaced my headlights with BriteLites to provide him with user reviews he could talk about in his presentations to mechanics and parts store personnel.

They worked well and the zero cost price to me was great!

I've seen the Holley LED lights and they look fairly decent, the price tag though is.. oof. Apparently they offer all sorts of LED bulbs in their Retrobright line

One thing you must realize is that if you live in an area that gets snow, most LED headlights don't output enough heat to keep them clear in the snow. Trucklights are the only company that I know of offhand that sell a set that have heated lenses.

You get what you pay for.
