It dos look cool and different. I like the halo type light but I went with these and wow are they brite and have a nice sharp cut off for high and low. don't know of a kit to change to round I think it would have to be made.

You could retrofit a projector into an H4 housing then put a halo around it. It would be a rectangular housing with a round projector in the center. Or they also make H4 housings or led also that have the halo but it follows the rectangular shape. I saw some projector halo kits that I think were called devil eyes? There’s a red halo close to the projector lense that makes the lense glow red. Then there’s a second halo at the projector base that can be a different color.

I’m starting to really like this style. If I can find ones that have a good light pattern. I really like how the drl is a straight led tube through the center. It’s reminiscent of the new cars that have all the fancy led and ccfl. Only just a simple straight line and it works well for the XJ giving it a modernish look while improving the effectiveness of the headlights. Don’t forget to add a relay harness to the headlights as well. It’s on my to do list before I bother with new headlights.

And sorry I didn’t really answer your question. If I were going to convert to round lights probably the easiest way would be to use motorcycle headlights that have a bolt on one side. Drill a hole in the header and mount them to it.
