Ground question

I have a 1998 Cherokee and am looking for a specific ground location. My service manual says is it G302. Does anyone have any idea where this would be located?

Thanks.

What is it that is supposed to ground at this spot, that might be an easier way for us to help you out.

G302 is located behind the spare tire mount. See pic.

I despise chassis grounds.

Especially when they are held in place by a sheet metal screw - like these.

And stuck on after the vehicle is painted with zero attempt to make any better contact than where the screws contact the sheet metal.

I know this was a really old post, but do you have pictures of the rest of the ground locations?

Hey, T, just noticed your post. CCKen hasn't posted in about 2 years (June 2017). I heard he was ill. He is an older gentleman. It's possible he's no longer with us.

If you search on his username you'll probably find a bunch of pics like the one above. He has (had?) the most meticulously clean XJ in the world, I suspect, and he probably shared pics of all the ground points at one time or another.

Maybe someday somebody will gather then all together in one monster thread....

Here you go. These are the grounds CCken posted.
