I've started planning my stereo system. Been looking at speakers. Naturally I'd like to get whichever speakers I like, but at the same time, want full use of my windows. I know that I could get mounting rings, but I really prefer the more natural stealth look with the speakers behind the door panels. I looked up the mounting depth of the Infinity shallow mounts, 6.5" and they are 1-13/16" the MB Quarts were like 2-1/16" IIRC. So, does anyone know about what the most depth is and still get the windows down all the way ???

 

I put some Alpine sport series 6.5" speakers from Autozone in mine and they fit fine.

 

Any 5.25", 6.5", or 6.75" speaker should fit fine.
