Audio System 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport

I just picked up a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport for my first car, and it is amazing I love the Jeep life. I love the car in nearly every way, but one thing I dislike is the stock speakers. They simply sound like tin cans, and one of the speakers, the front right side, does not work, and yes I checked the connector and made sure it was getting power to the speaker and it does all of that. I am looking for a set of 4 speakers that can run off the stock wiring that is fairly cheap but still has good sound, I do have an aftermarket radio, the JVC kd-r970bts if that makes a difference, I will include a link of the radio at the end. Thanks in advanced.

Actually from my own experience anyway, the factory speakers actually have noticeable bass. Any cheap aftermarket speakers always sound like tin cans and not a hint of a bass note. I've only tried a couple pairs. Both under $100 for the pair. One was Sony and the other Alpine. I'll be following this thread because I'm in need of speakers for 3 different Cherokees right now and refuse to buy anything that sounds like garbage. I'd rather have no speakers. And I do have a sub and amp but don't want to use it because what little cargo space is available already without it.

I have the stock infinity speakers and amp. they are old and I do want to change the speakers with something just as good because these speakers sound great . and i have a Kenwood head unit and a bass box and amp.
