Default Aftermarket sunroof switch wiring

2002 gc Laredo 6.0
the wires of my sunroof switch came out of the fuse input they were stuck in and now I can't get it to work right again.
while replacing another fuse, 2 wires for the sunroof switch came out of the fuse port they were pushed into. it looked like they were twisted together and pushed in to the lower input of the "foglight" fuse port. but when I did that it doesn't work. Then if i put one in the top and one in the lower I can get the lights in the switch itself to come on, but the sunroof doesn't work, if I twist together and put in the upper part of the fuse port the lights come on and the sunroof works but then it stays on even with the power off to the car. like leaving the interior lights on. both wires each have a fusable link. but how can it be wired to get power with ignition on, and off when ignition off like it did before? Thanks.
