Aftermarket angel eye / halo headlight / turn signals.

First time post , please don't haze me for how silly this is . I'm just a geek so if I can geek it , I'll geek for the sake of geeking.

I have 01 XJ

My headlights have angel eyes (really more like arrows but whatever) , and they are white for daytime running , and Amber for turn signals. Both colors are in the same light strip housing , and have a separate wires in the back but I believe share the same ground. If I remember right .

The headlights " plug n play " but the DTR / angel eyes need to be spliced into an existing turn signal / market light wire.

I wanted to wire them to a 20 amp rocker switch mounted in the ashtray each entire headlight I'm brights is 50watts each so I figured get a decently big switch even though it's just for the Angel eyes ) then after the rocker ON/OFf have a switch for either white halo or amber.

Question is ... How do I wire it so that regardless of whether it's on WHITE or AMBER it goes to intermittent Amber for turns and doesn't flash white Amber white Amber because the whites are sustained on while it now flashes orange on top of it.

Relay ? How ? I'd prefer to route this kind of clean vs just sticking wires in fuse slots . not afraid to cut factory wires .

Thanks for reading this and possibly replying , I don't even know how to guess at this and I know it was kind of long .

Cheers

Hmmm. Interesting question. Can you post a picture or diagram of the existing wiring?
