Default 97-01 Cherokee dashboard with out the PS airbag

As the title states i am looking for a picture of the dash without the PS air bag or cover installed. I have a pretty large wiring project that i am undertaking on my XJ and need a place for the power center(fuse box and relay buss). The most logical place for me with out sacrificing heat, radio or other systems was where the PS air bag is in the dash. My air bag system does not work in my 97 as the DS is missing the air bag anyway and will not be replaced. We also do not have inspections here in Michigan so it will be fine(for the naysayers). Any help is appreciated.

Airbag is better than kissing the windshield followed by the (hopefully) helicopter ride, just sayin...

the only issue I see disabling the airbag is liability on your part. If there is an accident where your passenger is hurt, your insurance company could investigate and find you disabled the airbag they MIGHT have a case against you.

I know GM has recording equipment that works with the airbag system and monitors your car. Not sure about Chrysler/jeep. I had a friend who ran over a guy who was drunk laying in the road ( might have been dead before he was ran over). The insurance company pulled a log from the late 1990's GM car he was driving that showed all kinds of stuff including the speed and braking at the time of the incident.

according to this site, Jeep is not on the list in 1997. Personally I would not disable it, but I'm not one to tell someone else what to do.
