I just installed a "428" '90 ECU into my manual trans "87 and am very impressed in the supposed 6 horsepower increase. At 3rd gear it pulls noticeably harder. My fuel gage previously stuck past Full now works. $55 well spent.

Cruiser: Any reason you say to remove the 10MM nuts to pull the ECU with the mounting plate? I found it way easier to take the two small screws out of the plate and drop the ECU without removing the plate.
Also, I'm in need of an ECU for a manual trans 4.0 (dead injector driver) if someone has an '89 or '90 ECU to sell.
