MJ Transfer case
Looking for a transfer case for a Comanche with an manual transmission. Can you guys tell me what model Cherokee I need to look for to hopefully find one or maybe some websites that might help me out. Thanks in advance.

Find an XJ from the same model year with the same engine and a manual transmission. Should be a direct swap.
Outside of that, check the spline count on the tail shaft of your MJ transmission. It should be 21 or 23 spline. 21 spline is easier to find on older XJs and 4 cylinder models. 23 spline is newer years with the 4.0. I forget the exact cutoff date.
If you have a 4.0 with the Peugeot 5 speed transmission, now is a great time to upgrade to an AX15. It's an all around better transmission. Find one of the newer XJs (93 or 94 and newer?) so you get the external slave cylinder and swap both the transmission and t-case as a unit. You'll need the donor's transmission crossmember and maybe need to splice a couple of wires onto different connectors for the transmission. But it's a really good upgrade.
