Finally shifted the focus back on the Comanche..

Put the drivers side door back on again so I can decide where to install the striker.

I'd probably put the striker on the roof personally

So I traded the bunch of old leaf springs and the old fenders for a set of manual 97+ doors and a tailgate.

I took the latch and hardware off the tailgate. Probably sell it. Saving the metal to make a bench or just hang up on the wall.

As of the doors. The reason why I got it is so I have spare set of manual crank regulators and cut the shells up into half doors that can go on either the XJ or the MJ.

While I'm taking it apart. I noticed that it had heated mirrors. Can anybody say score?

Guess I'm gonna put that on the Grüner XJ.

Other than that. There's absolutely no progress lol.

I think I like it. The shape could been better but I'm satisfied.

Shape looks good. How wide did you make them? Looks like they have full coverage.

About 4.5"-5" wide. I can't remember. But it is directly above the tread line on the tires.
