No, I don't lick fish.
Oh they're feedin' you a line of bull there. We match RA prices. The caveat is, when matching the price for RA or any other online parts supplier, we require you to tack on whatever their cost is for overnight shipping. When you do that, AZ's price usually wins out.

Funny because my store price matches and does not charge anything for shipping so parts are actually cheaper than rockauto.
I just bought a fuel tank for my MJ for 130. Autozone price was 220.

Last night I got the bearings & seals pressed on the shafts & installed on the axle.
No pic of that yet but here's some others
And here's a pic of the ARB in the front axle
I put the copper tubing into the bulkhead fitting and attached the plastic air line on the top so dirt won't get into it.
Gotta weld the sway bar mounts on the truss and it ll be ready for the paint. I can't for the life of me find pics of how it's mounted & welded on the truss anywhere on the web. Ugh.
Those pics on TNT's website isn't exactly clear

I also gotta figure out about the steering. I originally wanted to build my own using one ton tie rod ends with my own tubing.
I asked my boss to call the steel supply for a quote on a stick of 20' DOM tubing. Said it was $300. Ouch! 5 years ago when I built my steering on the XJ, it was $150 per stick.
It's actually cheaper just to buy a kit and modify it for my uses.
There's a member here selling a ruffstuff kit. He was willing to trade it for my mounts but he wanted the better end; a lot more than what his stuff was worth, it didn't made any sense to me, so I told him to forget it. Some people can be so greedy. Smh

Check ebay - lots of pre-cut lengths in this listing. Would be cheaper than 20' length at this point...

The other day I talked to David from CavFab and I asked them if I gave them the measurements, would they machine a set of drag link and tie rod out of solid steel for my 1-ton steering on a waggy 44. They said they could. So that's an option on the table as well.

That's what I heard was going to happen. The price of steel and Aluminum would almost double!! Most is all imported.
With this tariff on imported steel and aluminum, US Companies are starting to look at re-opening. Sort of good for US, America First and all, but prices will be higher in the short term.
Good news is that the price of scrap is going up.
