Default Swapping parts

Just checking hoping I got it right ?.
have a 92 commanche 4.0 and truck has H.O marking motor tired and smokes.
Got a 1986 4.0 I believe to be a H.O that was from a wrecked Cherokee. Had oil pressure problems after put in. Found out later it had been in water when rolled so that was the iasiue with oil pressure. Pulled it again and stripped motor down so I could pressure wash it out throughly seems to be clean inside. Put it back together with new bearings, oil pump, lifters timing chain and gears.
crankshaft was scored so I used the one from the 92 with new 20 thousands over bearings to match crank. Rod bearing we're 10 over.
Questions.
Crank swap seems good Piston seems going all the way to top of cylinder.
Priming engine with a drill into oil pump and feel pressure build but not showing up thru rocker arms. Some do but not all ? . Is this a problem or will they prime once I start engine. Don't wanna have to pull engine again.
Thanks for letting me join your group
Appreciate your help and advice.
