I'm both a new Jeep owner and a new forum member.
I'd like to reactivate this thread because I'm exactly in the same situation as LordBeckbury.

I'm French and I bought the XJ of my dreams in... Portugal.
The vehicle was built in Venezuela (Carabobo) Chrysler factory and I miss the manufacturer plate on it to make it register in France.
As LordBeckbury, I'd need to contact Stellantis Venezuela LLC (cf. ex- FCA Venezuela LLC) to get a certificate of conformity based on the VIN number.

I found no contact via internet...

As old as this thread is, you may not get any response from the original posters. But, if you dig through all the threads here, you might find the info you're looking for.
