Need help with electric fan

So I've got a mint condition 1987 Comanche with around 29k miles on it. 4x4 5 speed 4 liter. It runs pretty hot and the clutch fan isn't enough for cooling. So i picked up a fan off a 95 Cherokee sport in the junk yard. Now all I need to do is wire it up, and I need help wiring it up to a switch. Can anyone input on this and help out? It would be very appreciated!!

Why not just swap plugs on the E fan?

When does it run hot?

It seems like it does most of the time, coolant looks like its gonna boil over. I replaced the radiator thinking it was internally corroded from sitting causing it to run hot, but that didnt fix it. This jeep never came with an electric fan from the factory, so no harness, that's why we picked one up for it and I need help wiring it!

look into swapping out your radiator for an open cooling system like one you'll find in 92+ XJ's. direct swap. You can either wire your fan direct to an accessory wire (this way when your key is "on" then your fan is on also) Or you could just wire it to a toggle switch. Just google or even youtube "Jeep XJ toggle switch eletric fan"
