Default My New Comanche

I picked up an '88 Comanche Eliminator last week and couldn't be happier ... well almost. It's an automatic 2WD and I plan to convert it to 4WD. It's in great shape and has 175,000 km on it. I'm the 7th owner, the previous owners all lived within about 40 km of each other. I can't believe they all took such good care of it. There is NO RUST on this thing!

Other preliminary plans include a 2" lift, MOAB rims, Tiburon seats, Linex (or?) bed liner and no doubt a lot of other things I haven't thought of yet (nothing wild).

I located an all original '88 4WD donor car but had to turn it down. It was so rusted out it started to break apart when we tried to get it on a trailer. The owner said "all or nothing" so I passed. I'll probably be sourcing all of the 4WD parts individually which is fine.

Any way, here it is ...

Thanks guys, and sorry bad_idea but that would be a "bad idea" ... you asked for it - LOL. I feel bad that I'm the first one to own it and take it so far away from where it's been for all of its life!
