how am I supposed to know if I have the 2.5 or 4.0 in my 92 Comanche, PO was not very informative |
Facepalm. You bought a truck and don’t even know what engine is in it? That would be a huge factor in price.

You can tell the 2.5 and 4.0L apart by counting the number of spark plugs or spark plug wires, the number of fuel injectors, or how many runners the manifolds have. One has more than the other. The emissions label on the firewall shows the engine size. Also, most ive seen had a "4.0 Litre" or "4.0 Litre High Output" badge on the tailgate, driver side. Nice Comanchee, btw. |
