These are the three wires the one on the right is bare and doesn't plug into the plug at all. Should I isolate them just up to the injectors or trace it all the way back? |
Make sure they're not grounding to one another.

i pulled the harness out from the firewall and completely exposed the wiring. i followed the knock sensor wiring all the way to the ecu plug and can not see anything wrong with them. i'm debating just going and pulling a wiring harness at the wrecking yard and just swapping it out.

I don't know. Try leaving the knock sensor unplugged and see what happens. |
Well after I got done re wrapping the harness i left the knock sensor unplugged and have been driving it for the last few days and it's been doing good. So I'm just going ti try and replace the sensor and hopefully that Solves it. Thanks for all your help cruiser
