1986 Comanche sensor help (2.5l)
 

Hello, I picked up this Comanche a few weeks ago and started going through it, it's been running ok. I noticed this 2 wire sensor was not hooked up (looks like wires were cut) can someone tell me what this is? I went to remove it to look at it better and the sensor snapped off on me! Part of the sensor is now stuck. Not sure if previous owner may have broke it and rigged it in the threads etc and that's why it was disconnected. I'm hoping it is not needed and I can just jb weld the orfice or something. Thanks in advance!

I think it may be the iat sensor? If so this thing's been running for God knows how long without it connected. Seems fine without it
