Trailer Brake Controller

Just got my 2019 Trailhawk with tow package. I have a light (2,200 lbs) trailer Ithat needs a brake controller to tow. Anyone put one in their Jeep? Brand recommendations? Any installation issues? My old Liberty CRD (diesel) towed this so well I had to remember there was a trailer back there. Hope the new Cherokee will work as well.

I have a 2016 with the tow package. the wire for the brake controller is under the dash. I have pulled a 20ft enclosed car trailer and had no problems. It did pretty well.

I am about to install one on m 2020 traihawk with the included tow package. Is it real just one wire plug and play after I locate the connector under the dash?
