Default 2015 Cherokee Unlimited or 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo

New Rochelle the forum and hopefully a first time Jeep owner very soon.

I had decided on a 2015 Cherokee Unlimited, but after reading all the tranny horrors, now I can't decide between the 2015 Cherokee Limited with 39k miles or the 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo with 55k miles.

I was sure about the Limited cause of all the bells and whistles that come with it, meanwhile the Laredo doesn't even have a back up camera.

They both cost exactly the same.

So I come to all of you to help me decide on my first Jeep ever (I'm 40).

So is it worth it to not get all the options on the Cherokee Limited and get the Laredo which doesn't even have a backup camera?

The Cherokee Limited will give you more features for the money (U Connect 8.4, chrome wheels, remote start, heated leather and powered seats, backup camera and sensors, etc.). I'd recommend the Cherokee for the luxury goodies, especially since it has less mileage, although as long as it's maintained well, mileage really doesn't matter (I bought a '14 Grand Cherokee Limited last year with 53k miles which is higher mileage, but it was a lease return with good maintenance on it, so turned out to be a great deal).

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the input. I actually ended up with a 2009 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited with only 45k miles.
