Yeah, our JKUR was AWFUL on gas... When my '93 Cherokee was stock I was getting about 23mpg on a mix of highway and city driving. Now, lifted, roof rack, and bumpers, I got 19.5mpg on the 600 or so miles back from Moab over Vail pass. We've never been on a longer trip than that my Jeep. I'm liking the Renegade. The TH has the same transmission.

Jeeps are not good on gas I love my xj but there's also a reason I bought my 88 4cyl 5 speed s10 I get about 30 mpg out of it and paid like 1100 bucks my xj and tj are driven on nice days but my dd is my s10 if someone takes it they can have it lmao

someone purchased it new, no matter what company, also.. im getting 28 and 29 mpg on the highway.. and now since the new engine is broke in.. on the 2ndary roads 24-27 mpg on average.. only in sports mode does it suck fuel.. but thats because its supposed too....

so im not sure why a chevy is even prudent on this forum.. it aint jeep... it has an airplane gear, a boat would push it through a wet intersection... 4x4 blows. i started out driving an s10 to learn to drive.. and well they are what they are.. not jeep..
