Hi; got a 2015 Cherokee Trailhawk and the sunroof keeps making a cracking rattle noise. Had the Jeep at the dealer several times now but they cant fix it. Only ever put some grease but this only helps for a few days. Will this ever get better? is there a fix? Thanks

lol my 98 cherokee xj does the same thing... thats chrysler for you i guess. If you put this in the kl cherokee section you may have more luck.

They ended up giving me a new sunroof on my 2014.

I had mine taken out and readjusted several times, but no noise now, still leaks in the channels in the car wash though. Also a 2015 Trailhawk.

Same issue here. 2016 Cherokee Ltd. Squeaks and rattles very loudly but intermittently. Worse in cold weather. Occurs with roof/shade open or closed, but not present when roof is in vented position. Dealer lubricated it once, but didn't really help. Back for a second visit next week.

Yep - My last Jeep - no more. Too many issues. Sunroof on my 2014 replaced - noise is back again.

This is my 4th Jeep. My last one developed a sunroof leak when it was 5 years old. If this current issue can't be fixed, no more Jeeps for me.
