After market plug n play.
Hello, not sure if this has been asked before but I was curious. How good is jeep at making after-market stuff plugs n play? for example, I have the 2014 latitude and was looking at side mirrors with the blinker in them. What are the chances jeep put the plug in the door for a later installation?

I believe they were part of a premium package on the Latitude, so the likelihood is pretty good. The front doors have individual control modules which take commands over the canbus and drive the mirrors and the blinkers. I would guess the harness between that module and the mirrors is the same for the non-blinker mirrors as blinker mirrors and it would be plug-n-play. You could probably confirm that by looking up the part numbers on Mopar. You could stick a meter on the existing connector and see if one of the wires starts blinking.
