HID Conversion Kits/Fire Hazard?
Hi,
Due to the heat given off by Xenon bulbs, app 1400F vs Halogen app 700, there is a concern by me if my projector bowl would burn when upgrading from Halogen to HID. This is due to plastic used in the construction of projector bowls for Trailhawks {per online websites}. Hids were not offered on Trailhawks in 2015. Anybody know why? Can anyone tell me what their experience has been with hid conversion kits, which ones are great and which ones to stay away from? Any issues with headlight projectors? Regards |

Regards DDM makes a great kit, I bought mine from ebay here https://www.ebay.ca/itm/DDM-Plus-Can...r=601252139533 Depending on the type of bulbs you have, a slight modification needs to be done to the passenger side bulb, read my review here https://jeepcherokeeclub.com/65-elec...installed.html This big thing with the DDM kit, 100% plug and play no PWM harness no BS it just worked when installed. |
