Angry Front Ticking/Clicking Sound (not CV or axel)

2015 Cherokee 4x4.

I posted months ago about this noise but after having 3 mechanics look no one has nailed it down. One last try before I go to the dealer.
You really hear it when going slow and I'm turning in a parking garage or when I'm parallel parking for example. You even hear it driving straight and I jerk the wheel back and forth.
It comes from the front tires (mostly the right one). It's NOT the CVs or axel etc. I've had all that looked at it tell me it's something else. Just had the 3rd mechanic look and he guessed something new, he said he thinks the noises are coming from the front tires dust/splash shields. He said and I did feel the "popping" vibration when holding down the shield and he was turning the wheel.
Has anyone heard or experienced this with their tires or dust shields??

How many miles do you have. Mine started to make a similar noise around 70,000. It turned out to be front strut mounts. But I honestly didnt replace them till about 95,000 after a road trip from ohio to AZ and ohio to Gaitlinburg both trips inside some off roading on. Not an immediate replace thing but it will make struts ware out.

I had it diagnosed by 2 different Jeep dealerships with both only being given an explanation of noise in the front kinda high. I am a mechanic myself and the noise reminded me of a lower ball joint creaking and popping but it sounded like it was coming from higher in the engine bay.
I noticed it most when I had the wheel turned and was backing out of a parking space, I had my wife repeat this with the hood open and a stethoscope on the strut mount top, you can also use a long screw driver but watch your feet!
let me know if you get a chance to check it like that.

So the latest mechanic came up with something that wasn't "I have no idea". He said it might be the splash guards in the front wheels making the noise, (like they're bent forward?) I guess he felt some vibration when it was clicking while I was turning...does that even sound reasonable?? Wouldn't the other two shops who lifted up my Jeep tell me it was the mounts if it was? I know you don't know them but they are well liked and one was even a Jeep specialist...

It's hard to diagnose strut tops, with out a better description or a video I cant really say. It could be as simple as the splash guard, as a thought I also had some clicking noise from the plastic on the bottom of the passenger door was making noise due to the plastic clips popping out of place. If it had a gap between the door and that plastic piece or if you can pull it away from the door it should be removed cleaned and reinstalled with all clips intact.

Just had this issue on my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Limited. A clicking, popping noise from front end while turning, even when stopped. Reminded me of a CV joint, but not anywhere near as loud or mechanical.
The service manager at the dealership correctly guessed strut top bearings after hearing it and locating it by ear to the top of the strut mount under the engine bay.
Mechanic lifted it and confirmed the issue.
They lubed the strut top bearings with some white grease (like lithium, but not) -- mind you, this is a brand new vehicle at 7,000 miles.

Noise stopped. Back on the road in one hour.

Read my reply about pinging from the 2014 Trailhawk, In mine they re torqued the drive shaft and front chassis bolts and it took care of the noise. I’m betting that’s it, seems like a factory defect.

So......
I got a second opinion about the clicking problem in this message thread...I took it to the dealer and after having it for a day they quoted me almost $1500 to replace bearings and hubs....good thing I'm skeptical. I took it to one more local mechanic turns out there just some bolts lose up front. I don't hear the sound anymore. a.k.a. almost got cheated out of $1500

Шуми видавала шарова опора в посадочному місті.

Шарова рухалась в ричагові і видавала клацання при парковкі на малій швидкості.
