Default Cylinder misfire

Hi!

I bought a 2014 last year. Now, Cylinder 2 is misfiring. When this first happened, my Jeep started shaking so badly, I thought I blew a tire.

First, I brought it to Firestone and then I brought it to my dealership. They both told me the same thing.

I did ask Firestone to just do the easy fixes, ie: spark plugs, and they said no. They didn't want to do that work, charge me money, and find out that didn't fix anything.

Both places told me that I still have warranty coverage on the power train. To properly determine the actual problem, it would take 5 hours and $700 to dismantle the engine. Once they are inside, they can find the exact problem. Then and only then will it be determined if the problem is covered under my warranty or not. If it is, I don't pay an cent. If it isn't then I have to pay for the repairs.

I have to save money to be prepared to pay. Now, I drive only when I have to. I discovered Marvel Miracle Oil and I put it in the oil and gas. Since this happened and I tried the oil, my car runs 80% better. Seriously. My Jeep only shakes when I am stopped and it does have trouble on hills.

Has anyone had this problem? What did you do and how did things turn out for you?

Okay. I'm moving your thread to the correct sub-forum.

Probably the ignition coil, not overly expensive to replace
